The Creatives Retreat in Bali is an all-inclusive unique opportunity designed to amplify your creativity in an amazing space.

The island of Bali is one of the most expressively creative places on earth. If you have an inkling of creative energy flowing, it will amplify it quickly and allow you to express it. If you have a lot of it flowing, it will expand it more and take that potential in new directions.

The Balinese express themselves daily through dance, offerings, food prep, ceremony decorations, daily performances, fabric design, intricate wood work, stone carving, craft making, music making, it goes on and it is all for us to experience just by showing up.

This investment is all-inclusive minus airfare, personal purchases, alcohol, and spending money.

Our home base will be a beautiful luxury retreat setting in the lush cultural center of the island. It includes delicious meals, creative exploration and beautiful spa treatments. There are limited spots available to create an intimate setting.

Here is what we is included in this adventure of a lifetime.

What we have planned...

• Daily creative projects with Val including block printing, photography and some drawing to name a few

• Daily sessions with Kelly giving you tools to unleash your creativity and integrate this way of being once you leave Bali and head home

• 7 nights, 8 days in your own private luxury room. Each villa has a private angkul-angkul (entrance/gate), a spacious living room with views of the swimming pool and garden, and connects to a private kitchen area and dining room.

• 3 meals a day plus afternoon tea and coffee time with Balinese sweets

• Visit a Water Temple, an amazing experience

• Visit an old Bali Aga village where they weave the only double ikat fabrics in Indonesia and live in the old traditions

• Private textiles class learning about local natural dyeing and make your own batik

• Early Morning Walk in the Rice Fields

• Excursions to the market to engage with the locals, explore fabrics, art, crafts and taste some local treats

• Learn to make traditional Balinese offerings and get an understanding of why these daily art practices cultivate the creativity in the Balinese people

• An evening of traditional Balinese Dancing and music

• Time to rejuvenate by the pool(s) and integrate all of the good vibes of Bali

• "Goodie Bag” of travel art supplies to expand your creativity during Valori’s daily creative time

Once you have registered for your week, we’ll follow up with a more detailed itinerary with workshop descriptions and a small supply list. And, as our trip approaches, we’ll send you helpful information to prepare you for your adventure.

The investment to attend the Creatives Retreat in Bali is $4,499.

This investment is all-inclusive minus airfare, shipping purchased items to your home, most alcohol, spending money and tips. Your place is only reserved on payment of a 50% deposit of $2249 or payment in full (which includes the deposit) as advertised. This deposit is non-refundable once we have our scheduled call.

You can pay the balance in full while on the call to save $450, or choose a payment plan, the second payment of $1350 is due by December 8, 2023, and the balance of $1350 is payable by February 8, 2024. 

Here is how to enroll:

1.   It is first come, first serve. Once you click the “Sign Up Here” button you will be directed to choose an appointment on my calendar and put a deposit down at that time. The spots will be taken in the order that deposits are made, not according to the scheduled call time so that those who work or have commitments don’t miss the opportunity.

2.   The deposit doesn’t guarantee your spot, we will have our call to confirm that this retreat is the right fit for you. If we decide that it is not a fit on that call, we will refund your deposit minus the Credit card fees. If we confirm that you are coming (yay!) we will set up your payment plan or complete your pay in full.

3. Please read Terms & Conditions at the bottom of this page before signing up for a spot. ** Also the landscape, steps and sidewalks in Bali and at the resort are uneven, please note you will need to be able to navigate uneven surfaces.

Terms and Conditions Agreement for the Bali Creatives Retreat 2024 (updated March 9, 2023) 

By registering for the Bali Creatives retreat 2024 you confirm you have read, understand and accept the following Terms and Conditions:

General

• This retreat is organized and hosted by Valori Wells(VW) and Kelly Sheets(KS)

• Attendance at this retreat and involvement in any and all retreat activities are at your own risk. It is your responsibility to arrange travel insurance which is highly recommended.

• All dietary requirements can be catered for but it is your responsibility to advise us of any such requirements no later than 28 days before the event.

• No pets or children are allowed on site.

• Non-participating guests are not permitted on site.

• Any valuables brought onto the site are your responsibility.

• No alcohol may be brought onto the site.

• You will comply with any Indonesian government-issued COVID guidelines.

Registration

• Your place is only reserved on payment of a 50% deposit or payment in full (which includes the deposit) as advertised. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

• Bookings are on a first come first served basis.

• Registration is non-transferable and resale of places is not permitted.

Payment Plan

• If only the deposit is paid on registration, the second payment of $1350 is due by December 8, 2023, and the balance $1350 is payable by February 8, 2024.

• An invoice for the amount due will be issued by the Organizer to you to the email address used to register. Failure to pay the invoice for the balance in full within 14 days will result in you forfeiting your place. In such a case there will be no refunds on payments made up to that point.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation in writing before midnight PST on February 8, 2024: 50% cancellation fee (this is the deposit).

• Cancellation in writing at or after midnight PST on February 9, 2024: 100% cancellation fee (includes the deposit)

• The Organizers cannot be held liable for situations beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of war, acts of God, threats or acts of terrorism, civil unrest or unforeseen personal circumstances. In the case of cancellation by the organizers under such circumstances other than a government-enforced Morocco national lockdown at the time of the retreat, no refunds will be payable and no compensation is payable for any individual travel arrangements you have made. In the case of Morocco national lockdown coinciding with the dates of the retreat, you will be offered the choice to transfer to the rescheduled retreat or a full refund of your fees paid. No refunds will be given in case of you testing positive for COVID, or any other COVID-related circumstances preventing you from traveling to and attending the retreat. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate insurance to cover this eventuality.

Use Of Valori Wells and Kelly Sheets Intellectual Property
The retreat’s teaching material contains intellectual property owned by VW, and KS including copyrights, proprietary information, trademarks, and other intellectual property. VW and KS reserve all rights in this intellectual property. While you may blog about, or otherwise share via social media, your general experience regarding the retreat, you may not publish, redistribute, copy, synopsize, or otherwise convey to others any content from the retreat for any purpose whatsoever. All teaching material is exclusively the property of VW and KS and is strictly protected by intellectual property/copyright law.

Liability waiver
You acknowledge that participation in the retreat carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries or property loss. You agree to waive, release, and discharge the Organizers, VW and KS from any and all liability for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind.

Other

• In the case of emergency, natural disaster or cancellation by the venue for any reason, the Organizers reserve the right to change the venue without notice at any time.

• The Organizers reserve the right to change the schedule and teaching staff without notice at any time.

Any disputes will be dealt with under the laws of Oregon
