Magical does not describe my experience on the Moroccan retreat adequately - the sights, sounds and smells were so inspiring, and my creative mind was so full of possibilities every day, I can still sit in my quiet space surrounded by my memories and mentally go back!
This was a retreat like no other I have ever been on. Val & Kelly provided a safe and informative perspective on our art and how we process and create. Eternally grateful for this gift!
— Helen B.
Absolutely worth it. Kelly and Valorie both kind, patient and talented. Time with both of them was excellent. Visiting sites that allowed you to see creativity and ingenuity. The garden was my favorite, could have spent more time to sketch. The block printing was a good start, gave me enough information to do some of my own when I got home. Should have had a hat with me to visit the camel riding site. I didn’t ride the camels but sitting in the shade and enjoying the site was worth it. Great landscape, should have had my watercolor items with me while I waited for the camel riders.

I have nothing to say about the Peacock Pavilions other than to say, perfecto! Lodging super comfy, food: FIVE STARS! Staff: FIVE STARS!
— Robbie Smith
Experiencing the cacophonous color and sound that is Marrakech under Kelly and Val’s expert guidance sparked a creative burst that continues today. But it is the moments of silence under a desert sky that changed me.
— Jan Tetzlaff
Our stay at Peacock Pavilions was marvelous. A great time to relax and actually be in the moment. Val and Kelly’s program was very inspiring and educational. I especially enjoyed the time we had to just Play, Breathe, and Create!

I have often brought myself back to that trip and remind myself to “Be in the Moment!”

Oh, and the camel ride. Did I mention this bucket list experience?
— Donna Rice

I am so thankful for this amazing opportunity and experience. I knew this trip would be life changing, but I did not know to what degree. I can tell you that I am not only a changed person in every fiber of my body, but that my creative spirit is bursting again, my passion for travel and cultural immersion has been fed and is overflowing. My soul is happy, I will be coming back ... next year for the retreat. The combo of cultural immersion, art & creativity and self discovery & awareness makes for the perfect Bali experience.
— Shawna Haynes

What an Amazing, Life Altering Journey!!! I am still in Awe!!! Thanks for making My Journey so fulfilling. Already Thinking of next trip!
— Christina Brummet
I think a person grows when traveling and even more so when it’s a foreign country. We are such a spoiled country and it make you stop and appreciate our lives after these trips. The people of Bali were such happy, caring people. They worked so hard to make sure we were taken care of and having a good time! Loved meeting the other people on the trip and the sharing that made us close. Was excited about the projects that we did and hope to continue getting better at them.
