For 7 nights and 8 days, your home will be a private, luxurious riad tucked inside the Medina of Marrakesh—an oasis of beauty and calm amidst the city’s vibrant pulse.

Who are Kelly and Valori....
Valori Wells has been a professional artist, fabric designer, and photographer for more than 25 years. A lifelong artisan, she is also the owner of a world-renowned quilt/fabric shop in Sisters, OR where she teaches classes on workshops in various art forms. Valori is the host of Quilter’s Affair, a yearly artisan retreat held every July in Sisters that brings in 1200 students and 36 teachers from around the world for a week of creativity. Kelly Sheets is a coach & high frequency partner for visionary leaders and creatives who want to expand their freedom, ease, and impact. As an adventure seeker for more than 3 decades, Kelly’s travels have taken her to dozens of far flung places around the globe. The investment to attend the Creatives Retreat in Morocco is $6,199 for a shared room & $6,899 for a private room.
This investment is all-inclusive minus airfare, shipping purchased items to your home, most alcohol, spending money and tips.
Your place is only reserved on payment of a deposit. You can choose below to pay in full (which includes the deposit) as advertised or the payment plan, the first payment is the deposit. This deposit is non-refundable once you have signed up.
Shared room: You can pay in full $6,199 or choose a payment plan. The payment plan is the deposit of $3099 followed by payment of $1800 to be billed June 12, 2026, and the balance of $1800 will be billed August 12, 2026.
Private room: You can pay in full $6,899 or choose a payment plan. The payment plan is the deposit of $3450 followed by payment of $1924 to be billed June 12, 2026, and the balance of $1924 will be billed August 12, 2026.
We have 5 shared rooms available and 7 private rooms.
Please read before enrolling:
1. Please read Terms & Conditions at the bottom of this page before signing up for a spot.
2. Note on uneven stairs & uneven surfaces. This riad(hotel) is in the old Medina and has multiple flights of stairs, sometimes narrow and uneven. The rooms are on the first, second and third floors and we will spend plenty of time with the view on the rooftop so be sure that you can easily navigate stairs. Marrakesh is a walking city so expect to walk to places for meals and on the tour days.
3. Please purchase Travel Insurance after signing up to cover your investment should anything arise before the trip or during that would cause you not to be able to attend.

My trip to Morocco with Valori and Kelly was a life changing experience —meeting and working with artisans, walking through historical sites starring at the colorful tile work and carved motifs, winding through the souks and seeing and meeting artisans, traveling to the desert and riding a camel, and visiting Anima sculpture gardens were all inspirational. “Absolutely worth it. Kelly and Valorie both kind, patient and talented. Time with both of them was excellent. Visiting sites that allowed you to see creativity and ingenuity. The garden was my favorite, could have spent more time to sketch. The block printing was a good start, gave me enough information to do some of my own when I got home. Should have had a hat with me to visit the camel riding site. I didn’t ride the camels but sitting in the shade and enjoying the site was worth it. Great landscape, should have had my watercolor items with me while I waited for the camel riders.
I have nothing to say about the Peacock Pavilions other than to say, perfecto! Lodging super comfy, food: FIVE STARS! Staff: FIVE STARS!”

“My “dip” into Morocco with Val & Kelly was wonderful. Our accommodations at the Peacock Pavilion were fantastic: food, amenities, service. The planned excursions outside of our comfy compound were varied and fun: shopping in the Medina (retail therapy & cultural perspective), tour of Anima Gardens (art appreciation), and the camel ride out in the desert (adventure). Spending a morning with the girls from Project Soar was a most impressive, and heart-warming highlight for me. I can still see the smiles on their beautiful faces, and hear the strength in their affirmations.

“Traveling to Morocco was a dream come true. Valori and Kelly prepared us well in advance and once I got to Morocco it was smooth sailing. Every detail was arranged and I could just look out the window and take it all in. It was pure joy. I loved the people zipping around on motorcycles (old and young), the souks, the people!, the architecture, tiles and arched doors. The girls from Project Soar! I loved that it smelled different. The Peacock Pavilion was beautiful and peaceful and the food was wonderful. My favorite part of the trip was spending time with amazing, artistic women. All of us from different places and on different journeys, sharing the same path at least for a while. I’ll never forget them and how they inspired, nurtured, and showed me great kindness.
What I learned about myself was that I was not one kind of artist, but I was all kinds of artist and just maybe my life’s work was creating a joyful life.

Terms and Conditions Agreement for the Morocco Creatives Retreat (October 2026) updated September 11, 2025
By registering for the Morocco Creatives retreat (October 2026) you confirm you have read, understand and accept the following Terms and Conditions:
General
This retreat is organized and hosted by Valori Wells(VW) and Kelly Sheets(KS)
Attendance at this retreat and involvement in any and all retreat activities are at your own risk. It is your responsibility to arrange travel insurance which is highly recommended.
All dietary requirements can be catered for but it is your responsibility to advise us of any such requirements no later than 28 days before the event.
No pets or children are allowed on site.
Non-participating guests are not permitted on site.
Any valuables brought onto the site are your responsibility.
No alcohol may be brought onto the site.
You will comply with any Moroccan government-issued COVID guidelines.
Registration
Your place is only reserved on payment of a 50% deposit or payment in full (which includes the deposit) as advertised. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Bookings are on a first come first served basis.
Registration is non-transferable and resale of places is not permitted.

An invoice for the amount due will be issued by the Organizer to you to the email address used to register. Failure to pay the invoice for the balance in full within 14 days will result in you forfeiting your place. In such a case there will be no refunds on payments made up to that point.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation in writing before 11:59PM PST on August 12, 2026: 50% cancellation fee (this is the deposit).
Cancellation in writing at or after 12:00AM PST on August 12, 2026: 100% cancellation fee (includes the deposit)
The Organizers cannot be held liable for situations beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of war, acts of God, threats or acts of terrorism, civil unrest or unforeseen personal circumstances. In the case of cancellation by the organizers under such circumstances other than a government-enforced Morocco national lockdown at the time of the retreat, no refunds will be payable and no compensation is payable for any individual travel arrangements you have made. In the case of Morocco national lockdown coinciding with the dates of the retreat, you will be offered the choice to transfer to the rescheduled retreat or a full refund of your fees paid. No refunds will be given in case of you testing positive for COVID, or any other COVID-related circumstances preventing you from traveling to and attending the retreat. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate insurance to cover this eventuality.
Use Of Valori Wells and Kelly Sheets Intellectual Property
The retreat’s teaching material contains intellectual property owned by VW, and KS including copyrights, proprietary information, trademarks, and other intellectual property. VW and KS reserve all rights in this intellectual property. While you may blog about, or otherwise share via social media, your general experience regarding the retreat, you may not publish, redistribute, copy, synopsize, or otherwise convey to others any content from the retreat for any purpose whatsoever. All teaching material is exclusively the property of VW and KS and is strictly protected by intellectual property/copyright law.
Liability waiver
You acknowledge that participation in the retreat carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries or property loss. You agree to waive, release, and discharge the Organizers, VW and KS from any and all liability for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind.
Other
In the case of emergency, natural disaster or cancellation by the venue for any reason, the Organizers reserve the right to change the venue without notice at any time.
The Organizers reserve the right to change the schedule and teaching staff without notice at any time.
Any disputes will be dealt with under the laws of Oregon
